This shot was taken about an hour before sunset at Camel Rock on our last day in Bermagui. For those of you that may be interested on how the misty water effect is achieved during the day, I was using a 10 stop Neutral Density filter. This type of filter drastically reduces the amount of light that comes through the camera's lens to the sensor. This allows me to lengthen the shutter speed to 15 seconds to achieve a proper exposure. The longer the exposure, the smoother the water becomes.
