Tristania Falls is a large waterfall that Jeremy Rasnic and I came across during our walk through Dorrigo National Park in New South Wales, Australia. The amount of water flowing at the moment is not that much but these falls have a massive surface area and during times of heavy rain the rocks in this image would be inundated with water.
Because it is so large my first instinct was to use a wide angle lens to capture the entire scene but the smaller areas where the water was cascading over the rocks and patches of green really caught my eye. I decided to get in nice and tight to showcase the details of these beautiful falls.
