I went out on Saturday night to try and capture some of the meteor shower but I didn't have any set locations in mind. This led to a lot of driving around and not a lot of shooting. Towards the end of the night though, I pulled the car over and turned off the lights to try and get a better view of where the Milky Way was. Once I cut the engine I could hear a faint humming sound and as I looked out the window I could faintly see two large electrical transmission towers with a beautiful view of the Milky Way directly above them.
I was situated on a relatively quiet road but there were cars driving past every now and then so I started one of my exposures as they were getting closer with the goal in mind of using their headlights to brighten up the foreground. After a couple of attempts, I ended up capturing this final image.
